What does SpineAxis Clinic treat?
We specialize in scoliosis and spinal deformities, treated with scoliosis-specific exercise programs such as the Schroth method. We also treat general orthopedic cases: knee, shoulder, lower back and neck.
What is the Schroth method?
Schroth is a scoliosis-specific exercise method developed in Germany. It works in three dimensions, combining posture correction, targeted breathing and muscle activation to help each patient reach the best correction possible for their curve. Dr. Esraa El-Ghanem is a Schroth therapist certified by ISST.
Which ages do you treat?
All ages: children, teenagers and adults. Plans differ by age and stage of growth, because a growing child's curve needs different monitoring than an adult's.
How do I book an assessment?
Message us on WhatsApp at +20 111 886 9142, or send a direct message to @spineaxis_clinic on Instagram. You can simply write "assessment" and our team will get back to you to schedule your visit.
What happens at the first visit?
A precise assessment: we review your X-rays, take measurements and open a full file for your case. Then we explain your curve and build a personal exercise plan. Please bring any recent spine X-rays and reports you have.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the case, the age and the goals. As an example, one young patient started with two sessions a week and moved to one a week as she improved. We review the plan regularly based on measured progress.
Can adults with scoliosis still improve?
Yes, many adults do. One of our adult patients went from a 41° to a 33° curve, with less rotation and better balance. Results vary, and an assessment tells us what is realistic for you.
Does every back pain need painkillers?
Not necessarily. Pain can be a signal that something needs attention: how you move, your daily activity, or how well your muscles support your spine. Proper care starts with understanding the cause, not just calming the pain.
Do you work with patients who wear a brace?
Yes. Bracing decisions are made with the treating spine doctor. We help patients follow the prescribed brace hours and organize exercises around school and daily life, so treatment continues and life stays normal.
Where is the clinic?
SpineAxis Clinic is in Heliopolis (Masr El Gedida), Cairo, Egypt. Message us on WhatsApp for directions and available appointment times.
Do you offer training for therapists?
Yes. Dr. Esraa El-Ghanem teaches and trains therapists through courses and training groups, and she is an instructor in the NMA Academy Scoliosis Program.
Because your back deserves a specialist.
