Adult scoliosis

Thoracic scoliosis in a young adult

Started at age 20, now 23

Cobb angle

Before41°After33°

A 41° thoracic curve, moderate leaning toward severe for an adult, with rotation of the thoracic vertebrae and changes in the rib cage.

  • Thoracic rotation reduced significantly
  • Rib cage shape clearly improved
  • Better overall body balance, visible from behind

He had relatively few sessions because he studies abroad. The difference came from education: he understood his curve pattern and every exercise, so he followed his program on his own and we reassessed and updated it on each visit home.

Early-onset scoliosis

An 11-year-old girl with a family history

Followed for 6 months

Session frequency

Before2× / weekAfter1× / week

A mild curve found early. With her young age and a family history of scoliosis, the goal was careful monitoring and the right intervention at the right time.

  • Improved vertebral rotation
  • Noticeably improved appearance
  • Better pelvic position, balance and weight distribution

She started with two sessions a week. As she improved and stabilized, we moved to one session a week, with regular reassessment.

Standing X-rays

Cobb angle

Before34.8°After24.1°

Standing X-rays taken before and after the treatment program, with the Cobb angle measured on each.

  • Cobb angle reduced from 34.8° to 24.1°
  • Progress documented with standardized measurements

Every case starts and ends with measurement, so progress is something you can see, not just feel.
